Summary

CDC collects data from assisted reproductive technology (ART) clinics in the United States through the National ART Surveillance System (NASS) and calculates standardized success rates for each reporting clinic. Reporting requirements are outlined in the Fertility Clinic Success Rate and Certification Act of 1992 and have been further detailed in Federal Register Notices.
