The Current Population Survey (CPS) Fertility Supplement is a biennial supplement conducted in June that collects information on the fertility, marital status, and cohabitation status of women ages 15 to 50. These data are used to produce national estimates on recent childbearing and fertility patterns and to examine the relationships between fertility and demographic, social, and economic characteristics of women in the United States.
