From FY2024 to FY2026, the Administration of Chidren and Families (ACF) lost more than 30% of its workforce. The proposed FY27 House Appropriations bill reduces reduces funding for ACF by about 4%. Further, from FY2024 to FY2026, the Census Bureau which administers the data collection lost more than 2,500 staff (approximately 20%).
